Sahuarita is 8-2 against Amphitheater since February of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Sahuarita Mustangs will look to defend their home court against the Amphitheater Panthers at 6:00 p.m.

On Monday, Sahuarita came up short against Rio Rico and fell 61-49. The Mustangs have struggled against the Hawks recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Amphitheater had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Chargers 63-18. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 24 points or more this season.

Amphitheater is also on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.2 points per game. As for Sahuarita, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-12.

Sahuarita won a game that couldn't have been any closer when the teams last played two weeks ago, slipping by Amphitheater 55-54. Will Sahuarita repeat their success, or does Amphitheater have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
