Volleyball Recap: Riley Tsai Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Thousand Oaks

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but JSerra Catholic had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Thousand Oaks Lancers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

JSerra Catholic's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Riley Tsai, who had six digs and two aces. That's the most digs Tsai has posted over her last six contests.

JSerra Catholic's win bumped their record up to 19-14. As for Thousand Oaks, their defeat dropped their record down to 30-5.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, JSerra Catholic and Bishop Montgomery will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Thousand Oaks does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
