Basketball Recap: Brocton Bulldogs vs. Clymer Central Pirates
Brocton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 57-34 to the Clymer Central Pirates. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 48-32 back in December of 2024.
Roman Wassink was a one-man wrecking crew for Clymer Central as he dropped a double-double on 21 points and 16 boards. Wassink is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down nine or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Carson White, who posted 13 points and seven boards.
Brocton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Clymer Central, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brocton has already played their next matchup (against Panama), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Clymer Central has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Chautauqua Lake.
