Basketball Recap: Max Krehbiel and Owen Mcclanahan Secure Win for Dayspring Christian Academy

You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Dayspring Christian Academy's strategy against Clear Creek on Thursday. The Dayspring Christian Academy Eagles came out on top against the Clear Creek Golddiggers by a score of 45-35. The victory was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on three straight.

Leading Dayspring Christian Academy to victory were Owen Mcclanahan and Max Krehbiel. Mcclanahan went 6-for-9 en route to 12 points and six rebounds, while Krehbiel posted ten points and seven boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Hudson Weigt, who had six points.

Dayspring Christian Academy pushed their record up to 8-11 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.7 points over those games. As for Clear Creek, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.

Coincidentally, Dayspring Christian Academy and Clear Creek will both be playing SkyView Academy the next time they take the court. Clear Creek will head out to face SkyView Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Dayspring Christian Academy will host them at 7:30 p.m. on February 21st.
