Baseball Recap: Erath's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Erath had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Covington Lions on Thursday, sneaking past 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bobcats have posted since April 23, 2024.

Erath got a great performance from Hudson Guidry as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over 4.1 innings pitched. Furthermore, Guidry didn't allow a single earned run, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Landen Derouen, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted over his last 11 games.
