Basketball Recap: Collin Mckellar's Big Game Can't Quite Lead South Pointe over Washington

South Pointe suffered their closest loss since February 7th on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Washington Panthers by a score of 58-55. The Stallions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

South Pointe lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Collin McKellar, who shot 46% from the field on his way to 17 points. Treven Raymon was another key player, putting up 16 points and seven rebounds.

South Pointe now has a losing record of 1-2.

Coincidentally, South Pointe and Washington will both be playing Second Baptist the next time they take the court. The Stallions will head out to face the Eagles at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday, while the Panthers will host them at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
