Glenbard West won the last time they faced Lyons and things went their way  on Tuesday too. The Hilltoppers had just enough and edged out the Lions  2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  win the Hilltoppers have posted  against the Lions since October 17, 2017.
 The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Glenbard West who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 15-25,  25-21.
 Lyons'  loss shouldn't obscure the performances of  Avery Lee, who  had eight  digs, and  Julia Ahrens, who  had 11  digs and three  aces. Ahrens also put up a  kill, which was her first of the season.
Glenbard West's victory was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 25-9. As for Lyons, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-10.

As for Lyons, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  matchup,  a  2-0  loss against Mother McAuley on the 22nd.
