Basketball Recap: Troy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Maywood Academy on Tuesday, Troy came back down to earth. The Warriors took a hard 63-49 fall against the King Wolves on Wednesday.

Joshua Ajayi went supernova For King., going 9-for-18 to rack up 27 points along with eight assists and eight rebounds. Ajayi's big performance that evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chukwuma Ezinwa, who shot 40% from the field on his way to 13 points and five steals.

Troy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for King, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Troy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 61-35 loss against La Costa Canyon on the 21st. As for King, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 55-51 victory against Glendora on the 21st.
