Football Game Preview: Aberdeen Bobcats vs. Tenino Beavers + How To Watch

The Aberdeen Bobcats will challenge the Tenino Beavers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Aberdeen will be strutting in after a win while Tenino will be coming in after a defeat.

Aberdeen took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They came out on top against Black Hills by a score of 39-29. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Wolves recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Aberdeen's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Micah Schroeder, who rushed for 164 yards while picking up 7.1 yards per carry. With that strong performance, Schroeder is now averaging an impressive 110.3 rushing yards per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Adonis Hammonds, who picked up 102 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Aberdeen was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 205 rushing yards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their rushing yard total in three consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Tenino fell victim to Rochester and their airtight defense on Friday. They were beaten by the Warriors 46-0. Having soared to a lofty 43 points in the game before, the Beavers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Tenino's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Aberdeen, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.

Aberdeen strolled past Tenino when the teams last played back in November of 2024 by a score of 22-7. Do the Bobcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Beavers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
