Basketball Recap: Ardmore Takes a Loss

Ardmore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a 58-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Elkmont Red Devils. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 57-50 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

Ardmore's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Elkmont, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record this season.

Ardmore will take on East Lawrence in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Elkmont and Athens Bible will compete for holiday cheer at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
