Baseball Game Preview: Chapel Field Christian Lions vs. Livingston Manor Wildcats

For the first time this season, Chapel Field Christian will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will host the Livingston Manor Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Chapel Field Christian has given up an average of 8.4 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Chapel Field Christian fell victim to Chester and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 15-0 to the Hambletonians. The Lions have struggled against the Hambletonians recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Livingston Manor couldn't beat Eldred on Wednesday even though they stacked five runs on them in the third inning. The Wildcats fell just short of the Yellowjackets by a score of 6-5.

Chapel Field Christian now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Livingston Manor, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Chapel Field Christian came up short against Livingston Manor in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, falling 7-4. Can the Lions avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
