Basketball Recap: Dallas County Takes a Loss

Dallas County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a hard 56-39 fall against the Marion Rams. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 54-24 back in November.

Dallas County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Marion, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-3.

Dallas County will take on Southside in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Marion and Hale County will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hale County will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Marion surely won't give up without a fight.
