Flag Football Recap: Freedom Takes a Loss

Freedom lost against Heritage back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Falcons had to suffer through a 34-6 loss at the hands of the Patriots. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 332nd, while the Patriots are ranked 33rd).

Freedom dropped their record down to 5-9 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Heritage, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-2.

Coincidentally, Freedom and Heritage will both be playing Vanden the next time they take the field. The Falcons will head out to face the Vikings at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Patriots will play them later in the day, at 1:15 p.m.
