Basketball Recap: West-Oak Takes a Loss

West-Oak was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a blow against the Seneca Bobcats, falling 71-15. The matchup marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Harry Burgess was West-Oak's leading scorer, having posted eight points. Max Wallace held things down on the boards with eight rebounds.

Chaz Moss had a dynamite game for Seneca, going 7 for 10 on his way to 17 points in addition to seven boards and four steals. The dominant performance also gave Moss a new career-high in assists (four). JJ Krueger was another key player, going 5 for 8 on his way to 12 points.

West-Oak's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Seneca, their win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-2.

West-Oak didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 52-40 loss against Greenville H on the 19th. As for Seneca, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 76-54 defeat against Westside on the 19th.
