Baseball Game Preview: Socorro Warriors vs. Hot Springs Tigers

For the second straight game, Socorro will face off against Hot Springs. The Warriors will head out on the road to square off against the Tigers at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. The last three games Socorro has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Six must be Socorro's lucky number: they beat Hot Springs with that score not once but twice on Wednesday. The Warriors beat the Tigers by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 6-5. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

For Hot Springs' part, Ashton Garcia stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: he went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Gabrial Varela, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

Hot Springs is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7-1. As for Socorro, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6.
