Soccer Game Preview: Donna North vs. Porter

The Donna North Chiefs will square off against the Porter Cowboys at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Donna North is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Their defense stepped up to hand Donna a 5-0 shutout on Tuesday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Donna North considering their one-goal performance the contest before.

While Porter didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They had just enough and edged out Mercedes 1-0 on Tuesday. The result kept Porter happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 9th.

Porter has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those six matches. As for Donna North, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.

Donna North was able to grind out a solid win over Porter when the teams last played back in February of 2025, winning 2-0. Do the Chiefs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cowboys turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
