Basketball Recap: Mundelein Takes a Loss

Mundelein played a tough match on Wednesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Warren Township Blue Devils and fell 68-40. The Mustangs have struggled against the Blue Devils recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Mundelein's defeat dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Warren Township, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mundelein will welcome Lake Zurich at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Warren Township, they will be playing at home against Stevenson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Warren Township is on a three-game streak of home wins, Stevenson a seven-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
