Dedham has gone 8-2 against Bellingham recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Marauders will take on the Blackhawks at 4:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Dedham had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 11-run drubbing they dealt Ashland on Monday. The Marauders put the hurt on the Clockers with a sharp 12-1 victory. That 11 run margin sets a new team best for the Marauders this season.

Dedham got a massive performance out of Joslyn Roberts, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. Those two runs gave Roberts a new career-high. Mary Stronach also deserves some recognition as she launched her first home run of the season.
Dedham was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .441. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ashland only posted a batting average of .296.
Meanwhile, Bellingham posted their closest win since May 13, 2024 on Monday. They had just enough and edged out Medfield 5-3.
Trista Corshia spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on six hits and racked up eight Ks. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.2 strikeouts per game.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Kaleigh Simpson, who went 3-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Megan Skarin, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
Dedham is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Bellingham, their record now sits at 2-4.
Both Dedham and Bellingham just can't seem to miss. The Marauders have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10 hits per game. However, it's not like Bellingham struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5.5 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Dedham beat Bellingham 5-2 in their previous matchup last Friday. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Marauders since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
