Baseball Recap: Jupiter Christian Takes a Loss

On Wednesday, the Jupiter Christian Eagles came up short against the Palm Beach Gardens Gators and fell 5-2.

Brody Ball was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five).

At the plate, Jupiter Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brennan Gilday, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Jupiter Christian's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Palm Beach Gardens, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jupiter Christian will challenge Saint Andrew's at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Palm Beach Gardens, they are taking a road trip to challenge Jensen Beach at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
