Soccer Game Preview: Graham vs. Jordan-Matthews

Graham hasn't had much luck against Jordan-Matthews recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Red Devils are taking a road trip to face off against the Jets at 6:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Graham fell victim to Southeast Alamance and their airtight defense on Monday. They lost 9-0 to the Stallions. While losing is never fun, Graham can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 443rd, while Southeast Alamance are ranked 191st).

Meanwhile, Jordan-Matthews also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Seaforth on Monday, falling 9-0. Jordan-Matthews have struggled against Seaforth recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

This is the second loss in a row for Graham and nudges their season record down to 2-11. As for Jordan-Matthews, their loss dropped their record down to 6-13.

Graham couldn't quite get it done against Jordan-Matthews in their previous meeting back in April as they fell 2-0. Can the Red Devils avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
