Football Recap: Grand Haven Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Grand Haven was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 23-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jenison Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Buccaneers of the 34-14 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Grand Haven's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Jenison, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Grand Haven will venture away from home to challenge West Ottawa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Buccaneers will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 31.75 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Jenison, they will welcome Hudsonville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups.
