Baseball Recap: Hawley Comes Up Short

The home team had come away the winner the last six times Hawley and Perham had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Nuggets came up short against the Yellowjackets on Tuesday, falling 12-2. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Yellowjackets this season, with their most recent loss being a 9-0 defeat two weeks ago.

Hawley's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Perham, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

Looking ahead, Hawley will host Goodridge/Thief River Falls at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Perham, they will challenge Park Rapids at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
