national rankings since last week after going 2-1 in the past seven days. The Wildcats are currently No. 40 in the California state rankings, with an overall record of 23-10.
Davis currently leads the league with a 25-8 record overall and a 12-3 mark during league play.
Elk Grove is in second place, zero games behind with a 12-3 record in league play.
The Blue Devils' pitching staff dominated this week, allowing only two hits and four walks, both of which led the league. Davis has given up a mere 131 hits on the year, while striking out 196 opposing hitters.
