Volleyball Recap: Murrieta Valley Triumphs

Murrieta Valley won the last time they faced Liberty and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Nighthawks came out on top against the Bison by a score of 3-1.

Murrieta Valley had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-11, 25-19, 25-16.

Liberty's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Taylor Dallin, who had 14 digs, five kills, two aces, and one block, and Cadence Drumm, who had seven digs and two aces. Drumm is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last four games she's played dating back to last season.

Murrieta Valley has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. As for Liberty, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.

Murrieta Valley has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Yucaipa on the 3rd. As for Liberty, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Elsinore on the 3rd.
