Baseball Recap: Millikan Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Millikan's offense. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Redondo Union Sea Hawks on Friday. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Rams were not able to get on the board.

Millikan got a good showing from Austin Brett, who pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the first time Brett hasn't allowed a single hit since back in April of 2025.

This is the second loss in a row for Millikan and nudges their season record down to 3-2. As for Redondo Union, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Millikan will be playing at home against Fountain Valley at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Redondo Union, they will head out on the road to take on Torrance at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
