Volleyball Recap: Valhalla Takes a Loss

Valhalla was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Steele Canyon Cougars. The Norsemen were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cougars earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Valhalla's defeat dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Steele Canyon, their victory bumped their record up to 7-13.

Valhalla didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Chula Vista on the 26th. As for Steele Canyon, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Victory Christian Academy on the 26th.
