Preview: Ross Little Giants vs. Anthony Wayne Generals
Ross has been on the road for two straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Anthony Wayne Generals at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Tuesday, Ross was able to grind out a solid win over Northview, taking the game 53-41.
Meanwhile, Anthony Wayne was fully in charge on Tuesday, breezing past Southview 61-21 at home.
Anthony Wayne can attribute much of their success to Elise Bender, who scored 19 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals, and Leah Pike, who scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooke Bender, who scored 6 points along with 4 steals.
The win got Ross back to even at 1-1. As for Anthony Wayne, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Ross was able to grind out a solid win over Anthony Wayne in their previous meeting back in February, winning 51-42. Does Ross have another victory up their sleeve, or will Anthony Wayne turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
