Football Game Preview: St. Bernard's Crusaders vs. Del Norte Warriors

St. Bernard hasn't had much luck against Del Norte recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Crusaders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Warriors at 2:00 p.m. St. Bernard's defense has only allowed 8.2 points per game this season, so Del Norte's offense will have their work cut out for them.

The home team had won the previous five meetings between St. Bernard's and Fortuna, and Fortuna kept the tradition alive. The Crusaders took a 26-18 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Huskies on Saturday. The loss was the Crusaders' first of the season.

Meanwhile, while Del Norte put up some points on Saturday, the same can't be said for Eureka. The Warriors walked away with a 7-0 win over the Loggers.

Having lost for the first time this season, St. Bernard's fell to 8-1. As for Del Norte, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

St. Bernard's strolled past Del Norte in their previous matchup back in October by a score of 16-0. Do the Crusaders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
