Recap: Harris County Tigers vs. Statesboro Blue Devils

The Harris County Tigers had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past Statesboro, posting a 42-7 win at home. The win was familiar territory for Harris County who now have 11 in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Harris County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mataye Youman, who rushed for 144 yards and two touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Levi Watson, who threw for 181 yards and three touchdowns while completing 78.9% of his passes.

Harris County's victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 32.1 points per game. As for Statesboro, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.

Harris County has the luxury of staying home another week and will welcome Jefferson at 7:30 p.m. on November 24th. Jefferson is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Statesboro does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
