Basketball Recap: Latta Comes Up Short

Latta suffered their biggest defeat since December 3, 2024 on Monday. They were beaten by the Kingston Redskins 65-29. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Redskins apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.

Latta now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Kingston, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Latta will head out on the road to square off against Haskell at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Kingston has already played their next game, a 53-50 victory against Idabel on the 14th.
