Volleyball Recap: Bayside Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Bayside was the 3-1 winner over Edgewood when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bears came up short against the Red Wolves on Thursday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bears have suffered against the Red Wolves since October 9, 2018.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-20, 25-12.

Ansley Schack paced Bayside's offense, picking up eight kills. Schack got some help from Camille Moller and her 17 assists. Bella Sams controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Edgewood found their leader in sophomore Erica Flagg, who had 11 digs and one assist.

This is the second loss in a row for Bayside and nudges their season record down to 4-9. As for Edgewood, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Coming up, Bayside will challenge West Shore at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Edgewood, they will head out to square off against Astronaut at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
