            Football Recap: Cherryville Ironmen vs. Stuart W. Cramer Storm        
        
		
        
        
            
Cherryville lost against Stuart W. Cramer back in August of 2016 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Friday. The Ironmen took a  blow against the Storm, falling  42-7. While losing is never fun, the Ironmen can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 297th, while the Storm are ranked 141st).
 Jayden Adams threw for 45 yards  on eight of 12 attempts.  On the ground,  Enijahe Whitworth rushed for 40 yards.
  Clee Phillips produced another solid  performance rushing for 44 yards and two  scores, while also throwing for 165 yards and one  TD while completing 71.4% of his passes for Stuart W. Cramer. Speaking of playmakers, who could forget  Cody Alexander, who went all the way with a kickoff return for a touchdown.
Cherryville now  has a losing record of 4-5. As for Stuart W. Cramer, the  victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-2.
 Cherryville has already played their next contest,  a  50-33  win against Bessemer City on the 31st. As for Stuart W. Cramer, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  game,  a  30-7  victory against East Gaston on the 31st.
