Volleyball Recap: Hastings Comes Up Short

Hastings had taken Lexington down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Saturday. The Tigers fell 2-0 to the Minutemen. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Minutemen apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-21.

Hastings now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Lexington, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hastings will take on Adams Central on Tuesday. As for Lexington, they will be playing at home against Cozad at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
