Kearney came tearing into Friday's contest with seven straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Mitchell Tigers by a score of 2-0.

Sophie Glandt paced Kearney's offense, picking up eight kills. Glandt got some help from Lena Arnold and her 19 assists. Elle Cochran controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Kearney's victory bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Mitchell, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-17.

Kearney has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against McCook on the 3rd. As for Mitchell, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Rapid City Christian on the 3rd.
