Lake Mary has gone 6-1 against Winter Springs recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Lake Mary will face off against Winter Springs at 7:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Lake Mary is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Florida's top teams: Bishop Moore, who was ranked 14th at the time (Lake Mary was ranked 20th). Lake Mary came up short against Bishop Moore on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Rams' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

While Lake Mary ultimately came up short, they really made Bishop Moore work, particularly in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-19, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Winter Springs suffered their biggest loss since March 26, 2024 on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to Winter Park. Like the Rams, the Bears also had to let a streak go: they had won three straight, but that streak is no more.

While Winter Springs was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-14, 25-10.

Winter Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Lake Mary, their loss dropped their record down to 8-3.

Lake Mary came out on top in a nail-biter against Winter Springs in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Will Lake Mary repeat their success, or does Winter Springs has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
