Football Recap: Doral Academy Wins Going Away Against Reagan

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Doral Academy). They blew past the Reagan Bison 32-6 on Tuesday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Firebirds with their most commanding win of the season.

The victory (which was Doral Academy's third in a row) raised their record to 3-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 2.0 points on average over those games. As for Reagan, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Doral Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Monsignor Pace at 4:00 p.m. on April 4th. As for Reagan, they will take on Goleman at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Goleman's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Reagan has been banged up by eight consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
