The North Fort Myers Red Knights will square off against the Fort Myers Green Wave at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. North Fort Myers is coming into the  game hot, having won their last five games.
North Fort Myers is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Charlotte  5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  win the Red Knights have posted  since March 3rd.
 Kaliyah Williams was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. She  didn't allow a single  earned run over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in eight consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with one  double and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Abigail Hynes, who  got on base  in all five of her plate appearances with one  stolen base, two  RBI,  and one  run.  Kelley Conley was another key player,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI.
Meanwhile, Fort Myers beat Ida Baker 11-8  on Tuesday. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Green Wave.
 Sage Rodmyre was  incredible,  firing off two  home runs, five  RBI,  and three  runs while going 3-for-4. Those  five  RBI gave  her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Amira Peterson, who  went 1-for-2 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  double.
 Fort Myers was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .393. They are  a perfect 15-0 when  they post a batting average of .375 or better.
 North Fort Myers' victory bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Fort Myers, their win bumped their record up to 19-6-1.
Thursday's   match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. North Fort Myers hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .388. However, it's not like Fort Myers struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .390. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
 North Fort Myers took their  victory against Fort Myers  in their previous meeting  two weeks ago by a conclusive  14-4 score. Will the Red Knights repeat their success,  or do  the Green Wave have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
