Volleyball Recap: Staples Comes Up Short in High-Profile Match with Ludlowe

Staples faced Ludlowe in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Wreckers fell 3-1 to the Falcons. The Wreckers just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Ludlowe scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-23, 18-25, 25-21.

Staples' loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Ludlowe, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-2.
