Amari Mallory Game Report: vs Whetstone

Opposing passers better start keeping an eye on Amari Mallory: he recorded his first sack on Friday and we're guessing he's looking for more. He picked up three sacks, made 11 total tackles (4.0 for loss), and defended two passes, helping propel Northland past Whetstone by a score of 35-3. We hope Mallory's good effort is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Coming up, Mallory and Northland will challenge Linden-McKinley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The game will pit Mallory up against the Panthers' star WR Emmanuel Towns. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
