Westview and Poway are an even 3-3-4 against one another since January of 2022, but likely not for long. The Wolverines will be playing in front of their home fans against the Titans at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Westview's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

On Friday, Westview came up short against Rancho Bernardo and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, there was early excitement for Poway after they claimed the first goal on Friday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of Del Norte by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, Poway can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 642nd, while Del Norte are ranked third).

Poway's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7-5. As for Westview, they now have a losing record of 3-4-3.

Westview beat Poway 2-0 in their previous matchup back in December of 2025. Do the Wolverines have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Titans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
