Volleyball Game Preview: West Bend-Mallard Wolverines vs. Newell-Fonda Mustangs

West Bend-Mallard is 0-7 against Newell-Fonda since August of 2016 but things could change on Tuesday. The Wolverines are taking a road trip to take on the Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

West Bend-Mallard came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to East Sac County. The loss put an end to the Wolverines' undefeated start to the season.

Meanwhile, Newell-Fonda suffered their biggest defeat since September 12, 2024 on Thursday. They came up short against Emmetsburg, falling 3-0.

Having lost for the first time this season, West Bend-Mallard fell to 5-1. As for Newell-Fonda, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.
