Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Newton Falls). They breezed by the Champion Golden Flashes to the tune of 75-41 on Monday. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 352nd, while the Golden Flashes are ranked 769th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory was the third in a row for Newton Falls, bringing their record for this year to 8-4. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for Champion, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.
