Basketball Recap: Tri-State Christian Takes a Loss

Tri-State Christian was the 69-58 winner over Tower Hill when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Tri-State Christian Crusaders took a blow against the Tower Hill Hillers on Tuesday, falling 66-33. The game marked the Crusaders' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Will Davis and Jacob Dequina certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Davis posted nine points and three steals, while Dequina put up five points. Davis is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season.

Tri-State Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season. As for Tower Hill, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.

Tri-State Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 67-36 win against Harford Christian on the 19th. Tower Hill and St. Elizabeth will round out the year against one another at at 4:30 p.m. on December 27th.
