Basketball Game Preview: Leola/Frederick Titans vs. Waubay/Summit Mustangs

The Leola/Frederick Titans will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Waubay/Summit Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Leola/Frederick's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

Leola/Frederick will bounce into Saturday's matchup after beating Aberdeen Christian, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Leola/Frederick walked away with a 77-68 victory over Aberdeen Christian on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Waubay/Summit narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Waverly/South Shore 35-33. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Leola/Frederick's victory was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. As for Waubay/Summit, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Leola/Frederick was able to grind out a solid win over Waubay/Summit when the teams last played back in December of 2023, winning 58-51. Does Leola/Frederick have another victory up their sleeve, or will Waubay/Summit turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
