Volleyball Game Preview: Stoneman Douglas Eagles vs. Coral Springs Colts

The Stoneman Douglas Eagles will challenge the Coral Springs Colts at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Stoneman Douglas will be strutting in after a victory while Coral Springs will be coming in after a defeat.

On Monday, Stoneman Douglas beat Plantation 3-1.

While Stoneman Douglas might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Plantation scored at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 19-25, 25-20, 25-20.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Coral Springs' good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell just short of Nova by a score of 3-2.

While Coral Springs ultimately came up short, they really made Nova work, particularly in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-16, 25-27, 23-25, 15-8.

Stoneman Douglas will have to contain Jayden Thomas as he made an impact in Coral Springs' last game. He had 36 digs.

Coral Springs' loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Stoneman Douglas, the win got them back to even at 5-5.
