Volleyball Game Preview: Roy Royals vs. Clearfield Falcons

Roy hasn't had much luck against Clearfield recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Royals will head out on the road to challenge the Falcons at 6:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Tuesday, Roy came up short against West Field and fell 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-18, 23-25, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Clearfield lost 3-0 to Northridge on Tuesday.

While Clearfield ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-18, 25-18.

Roy's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Clearfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-12.

Roy couldn't quite get it done against Clearfield when the teams last played back in September as they fell 3-1. Can the Royals avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
