Baseball Game Preview: Orangefield Bobcats vs. Grandview Zebras

For the second straight game, Orangefield will face off against Grandview. The Bobcats will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Zebras at 7:00 p.m. Orangefield is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3 runs per game this season.

Orangefield is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over Grandview. Winning may never get old, but the Bobcats sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

The team relied heavily on Carson Worthy, who went 1-for-4 with one home run. Another player making a difference was Matthew Johnson, who got on base in four of his six plate appearances with one stolen base.

With the defeat, Grandview broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 23-16-1. As for Orangefield, their win bumped their record up to 27-8.
