Softball Game Preview: Big Bear Bears vs. West Valley Mustangs

The Big Bear Bears will head out to face off against the West Valley Mustangs at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Big Bear's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season.

Big Bear is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Banning just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Monday. They fell 17-14 to the Broncos. The loss was the Bears' first of the season.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 20 runs the game before, West Valley was a bit more limited in their game on Monday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of San Jacinto Valley Academy. The loss continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with the Wolves: they've now lost four in a row.

West Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Big Bear, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
