Volleyball Recap: Odyssey Institute Comes Up Short

Odyssey Institute had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 2-0 to the Estrella Foothills Wolves on Friday. The Minotaur have struggled against the Wolves recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Odyssey Institute's offense was headlined by Sarah Ferguson and Emma Valente, who picked up two kills apiece. Ferguson also shared the team's lead in assists with Lulu Gracia: they picked up two each. Caitlin Celestino controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

The win was the 35th in a row (dating back to last season) for Estrella Foothills, bringing their record up to 2-0.

Odyssey Institute didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against ALA - West Foothills on the 29th. As for Estrella Foothills, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Kingman on the 29th.
