Softball Recap: Prairie Snags 11th Win in Last 14 Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Garfield, Prairie was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Roosevelt Roughriders, sneaking past 4-2. That's the first time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 4-2 win on Friday.

Prairie has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.4 runs over those games. As for Roosevelt, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-13.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Prairie beat the Roughriders by a score of 4-2 later that day.
